Deepika V is a multi-talented personality. She is a singer, a model, a dubbing artist, and also an actor. She is also passionate about playing the piano. She has completed her B.Tech. In Information Technology from Easwari Engineering College.

Currently, she is pursuing her masters in the Sanskrit language from Madras University. She has trained under Geetha Varadarajan, Vairamangalam Lakshmi Narayanan, Vittal Ramamurthy, and O.S.Thiagarajan in Carnatic music. From 1997, she began to take lessons from Padmashri Sudha Raghunathan.

She first sang a classical song on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. M.L.Vasantakumari, at the tender age of three. She had also released her album named Chinnanchiru Kiliye when she was just eight. Since then she has numerous albums to her credit like Shirdi Baba, Kandha Shashti Kavasam, Samarpanam, Thiru malaivasa, and much more.

She has also lent her voice in various movies, in different languages and has worked with prolific personalities like Ilayaraja, M.S.Visvanathan, A. R. Rahman, Vidyasagar, Deva, and much more. She has essayed the lead role in serials like Kaiyalvu Manasu and its Hindi dubbed version Chhoti Si Asha.

She also sang the title track of both the shows. Besides that, she has enacted in K. Balachander's film Kaadhal Vangi Vanden and Amma Ammanu Chudalani Vundhi. She also crooned a song in the latter. She has also done a few advertisements for brands like Sakthi Masala, Henko, Duke's biscuits, Karur Vysya Bank, Jayam foods, and much more.

She has also dubbed in movies like Ennavale, Avvai Shanmugi, The Lion King Click to look into! >> Read More... , Soorya vamsham and much more. She has appeared and passed her grade examination in western classical solo piano from the prestigious Trinity College of Music, London.

She has won several competitions and has performed in numerous temples and gatherings. The government of United States of America selected her for an Arts Exchange Programme, whose theme was Music Composition and Performance.

Several countries like Brazil, South Africa, Ireland, and Mali had participated in it. She was the only one representing India and who presented a classical song which had the flavors of the South India as well. Esteemed music institutions like Music Academy-Spirit of Youth Festival, Rajalakshmi Fine Arts in Coimbatore, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, R.R.Sabha in Mumbai, Mylapore Fine Arts Club, Sangeetha Parishath in Mangalore, Karthik Fine Arts, The Indian Fine Arts Society, Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Nungambakkam Cultural Academy, Brahma Gana Sabha, Thyaga Bramha Gana Sabha, whose other name is Vani Mahal, and Bharath Kalachar have called Deepika to perform at their place.
