Today, she is happily married and keeps herself busy with raising her two children. Aarthi once was a part of Kollywood as her father was a film producer.

Later, after her marriage, she settled down with her husband and children. The actress graces the film promos of her husband's movies, and she is even seen sharing the same dais at some south Indian Movie Awards whether it is held in Singapore or even in Chennai. She walks the red carpet of film promos and other shows with her husband and children.

She is now a dedicated homemaker seen mixing well with her in-laws at home and celebrating festivals together; her husband has inspired her a lot in her regular life activities. She keeps herself busy with her social life, and she is socially active with her husband everywhere in and around Kollywood functions.

Aarthi got married in a well-known south Indian family Her father-in-law is Vijayakumar has been in cinema since 1973. Her husband and her father-in-law have appeared together on screen four times – in Pandavar Bhoomi, Malai Malai, Maanja Velu and Kuttram 23. His father is now a famous BJP leader in Tamil Nadu and campaigns for upcoming assembly elections.

She belongs to actress Manjula’s family, who was a yesteryear actress and seen in glamour roles opposite MGR and Sivaji Ganesan. In the year 2015, her husband set up their production company IN Cinemas Entertainment (ICE). The idea behind this venture was to launch and encourage young talent.

The first film to roll out from this film company was Kuttram 23! The film is a medical crime thriller, directed by Arivazhagan and produced by Aarthi Arun and Inder Kumar under the Cinemas Entertainment banner. Aarthi's brother, Hemanth’s wife, is Arun Vijay’s sister Kavitha. Hemanth is known as the producer of movies like 'Maanja Velu' and 'Malai Malai.’ The new film company set up by Aarthi Arun’s husband has begun a tradition of screening the production movie of their company to exhibitors, which was a trend in the 1990s.
