Kotapadi J Rajesh is an Indian Tamil film producer. He is the face behind KJR studios. Rajesh had a background in the banking sector for 12 years but later on, his love for cinema resulted in the establishment of KJR Studios. He is known for producing films like Singa Paadhai, Gulaebaghavali, Airaa, Hero, Ka Pae Ranasingam, Dikkiloona, Rubam, Dabangg 3 and more. He wanted to release the movie Doctor in theatres, but due to covid, he agreed on releasing it on different OTT platforms. Rajesh joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2020. He made his debut by producing film Aramm which got great reviews starring Nayanthara. Rajesh always wanted to produce movies with a message to convey to the audience. His movie Hero is an extension of his debut movie Aramm in a way. His movie Aramm got Filmfare’s best Tamil film award.
