He followed up with another hit movie ‘ Salim Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ and his third movie ‘ India Pakistan Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ did only average business. His wife produced the film “India-Pakistan'. After receiving the overwhelming response from audiences for two films ‘Naan and ‘Salim’, the actor has emerged as the reliable actor in Kollywood.

His forthcoming films include ‘Nambiar’, ‘Pichaikkaran’ and ‘Thirudan’. The filming of ‘Pichaikkaran’ is being credited by his production house Vijay Antony Film Corporation and is expected to release in 2016. He has also signed another new movie ‘Saithan’ where he would essay a psychologist character. He made his debut as a music director in the 2006 romantic flick ‘Dishyum’. Followed by it, he composed music for several movies and became as one of the promising composers in the Tamil film industry.

The actor is also excited with another film project ‘Yeman’ that will bring back together Jeeva Shankar and Vijay Antony (after Naan’). In 2013, Vijay Antony scored the music for ‘Haridas’. In this film, Vijay Antony scored the music of one song about cops in just two days. In the year 2013, Vijay scored music for another film ‘Madha Gaja Raja’ in which actor Vishal had given a voice for a song named "My Dear Loveru", which was used for promotional campaign too.

The actor has written the script for one of his movies in which he had acted, and that was ‘Naan.' He was born on 24 July 1975 in Nagercoil. His one song ‘Nakka Mukka’ was the item song for Cricket World Cup 2011. His wife Fathima Vijay Antony is associated with his film production company and produces films in the Tamil language.
