Alex was a South Indian actor and magician who worked for the Tamil film industry. He was born in 1959 and died on 1st May 2011 in Chennai. Alex started his acting career in the Kollywood movie industry with the feature film Valli written and produced by the South Indian superstar Rajinikanth. The movie hit the silver screens on 20th August 1993. He then appeared in Aranmanai Kaavalan directed by Selva Vinayagam, which hit the screens on 25th February 1994. He also appeared in the flick Thamarai directed, produced and written by K. K. Rajsirpy. He played the role of Parisal in the feature film. The Kollywood movie hit the film halls on 19th August 1994. He acted in the musical flick Avatharam written, directed and starring Nasser. The Tamil film hit the theater halls on 9th June 1995. He appeared in Kizhakku Mugam written and directed by M. Anna Thurai. He acted as Kannapan in the movie. The film hit the movie halls on 15th January 1996. Alex was part of the Tamil movie Mitta Miraasu directed by Kalanjiyam. He plays the negative role of Misaliman in the film. The flick hit the cinema halls on 10th October 2001. He achieved the Tamil Nadu State Film Award under the Best Villain category in 2001 for this role. He acted in the devotional flick Thaalikaatha Kaaliamman directed and co-written by R. Somasunder. He portrayed the character of Nattamai in the motion picture. The Kollywood movie hit the cinema theaters on 16th February 2001.

Alex played a part in the Kollywood flick Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi written and directed by K. Rajeshwar. The social drama movie hit the big theaters on 4th July 2003. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award under the Best Male Character Artiste category in 2003 for his role.
