S.N. Parvathi is a Tamil actress. She was born in Burma, but her native is Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram. She has been acting in Tamil movies and TV serials. Her debut movie was ‘Panam Tharum Parisu,’ released in 1965. She has been a part of more than 200 films. The well-known works of her career are Anubavi Raja Anubavi, Pasi, Palaivana Solai, Agaya Gangai, etc. She began acting in dramas in 1958, at the age of 13. Her drama guru was Krishnan; as a guru, he saw her talent and encouraged her work and made her a beautiful actress she is today. She had acted in more than 5000 plays. She played the role of a mother in the movie ‘Panam Tharum Parisu,’ when she was only 17-years-old. She got married in 1961. She has two children a son, and a daughter. She is honored with the Kalaiselvam award and is also a recipient of Kalaimamani from the TN Government.
