Nikhila Rao may look like a young artist to us and may take up such roles, but she thinks very mature for her age.

From childhood days, she wanted to be an artist. She wanted to act in movies as a heroine and wanted to prove her talent and get awards and public recognition at the same time. However, she didn’t get the right characters because of her lack of experience. She had to pick some roles to get the needed experience, so that she can come back and take a dash at the filmdom. So, she accepted “Vani Rani” which proved to be the biggest turning point in her career. It went on to become a super hit serial and today many are following Nikhila eagerly. “This experience has helped me a lot” says Nikhila Rao. “Now, I am working on my film career in parallel.

For her superb acting in Vani Rani she bagged a film in the Sandalwood Industry. She was quoted saying- I am thrilled about my Kannada movie 'Nan Life Alli ', where I am playing an important role.” After “Nan Life Alli”, Nikhila got number of offers to act in different characters. But she didn’t accept all of them to make some quick money. She carefully listens to the stories, looks at her character’s importance and then decides whether to accept it or not. She says “I am not hear to make quick money. I am going to stay here for many years and establish myself as a good talent. So, I am slow and steady, focused on my ultimate goal which is being a well respected and well appreciated actress!” She believes in the famous saying ”Slow and Steady wins the race”.
