Priya Shri Priya Shri was born in 1990 in the city of Chennai >> Read More... is an actress of the Indian cinema. She has worked in movies as well as TV shows. Priya had worked majorly for the South Indian Cinema. She belongs to Tamil Nadu. Though the major part of her career is framed by the Malayalam and Tamil movies but she has made a good game for herself by acting in some Hindi, Urdu and Kannada films. Priya Shri made her debut in the Malayalam Cinema by the movie "Enganeyundashane" in 1986 as a dancer. She gave an exemplary performance in the movie "Ninnistham Ennishtam" in 1986.

The movie marked the beginning of her career as a film star. As an actress in lead role, she made entry in the Tamil Cinema through the movie "Solla Thudikuthu Manasu" in 1988. In 1990, she was seen in the Hindi film "Gulabi Raaten" but that was not a big hit. She worked in a few more Hindi films but failed to make her image as a lead actress. Priya had worked in only one Urdu film in 2005 i.e. "Kyun Tum Say Itna Pyar Hai." The only Kannada movie in which she was seen was " Yuddha Kaanda" in 1989 that was the remake of "Meri Jung," which was originally featured in Hindi. Priya could not gain fame in the Hindi, Urdu and Kannada Cinema but she earned giant frame through the Malayalam cinema and had worked prominently as an actress in the lead role in many movies during the era of 1980s and 90s.

She had worked in a few Tamil films as well but nowadays she is seen in daily soaps. She has worked in approximately 70 movies, mostly in the Malayalam language. Her most recent movie was "Dum Biryani," which was featured in Malayalam in 2015. Priya Shri had been constantly working hard and made a way towards her successful career. In the midst of this journey the beautiful actress got married and has two children, a boy named Prince and a girl named Aishwarya. In the industry, she is active since 1986 and working till date. Her whole-hearted contribution and dedication to her work is worth appreciation.
