R S Sudarshanam is a Telugu author, who was born in the city of Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. After having completed his M.A in English from the Madras University, Sudarshanam became a lecturer of English. He even became the principal in some of the government colleges. His famous works consist of Anubandhalu (1958), Mallee Vasantham (1960), Asura Sandhya (1965) and Samsara Vriksham (1976).
He is also known for writing short stories like Kaalam Thechina Maarpu (1964) and Madhura Meenakshi (1981). Sudarshanam has been honored for his brilliant contribution towards the Telugu literature. He has even received the prestigious Andhra Pradesh Sahitya Akademi awards. In his recent book, ‘The Tree of Life,’ Sudarshanam has explained the truth and existence of life by narrating through different characters. ‘The Dusk’ is another such book that he has written.
