Vamshi Naarani is a renowned casting director in Telugu film industry. He was born in Nalgonda, Vamshi, Telangana. He earned a degree in textile technology as an engineer from Osmania University. He migrated to the United States of America for MS. For over ten years, he worked in quality testing and research. However, his leaning was towards filmmaking. Thus, he pursued a 1-year course in screenwriting at the New York Film Academy (NYFA). Naarani moved back to India to go ahead with this career. In 2017, he co-directed the movie Ghaazi.
