Narasimha Raju is a famous Tollywood actor born on 26 December 1951. He is known for the various roles that he has portrayed in Telugu movies. He is also referred to as ‘Andhra Kamal Hasan’ due to the talent that he possesses in acting. He made his debut with the movie ‘Needa Leni Aadadi’ in 1974 and then there has been no looking back. The Heroine of this movie was also a new debutant named Prabha. The movie was a big success and ran for about 100 days and he started getting various offers to act for other banners as well.

He also acted in 20 other movies in the late 70’s (i.e, 1976 – 1980). The movies include Athavarillu, , Kanya Kumari, Rambha Urvasi Menaka, Ammayilu Jagratta, Ammayilu Jagratta, Jayasudha, Anukunnadhi Sadhista, Jaganmohini, Prayanam Lo Padanisalu, Anthu Ledi Vintha Katha, Kaliyuga Mahabharatam, Lakshmi Pooja, Punadhirallu, Gandharvya Kanya, Punnami Naagu, Punnami Naagu, Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Prameswari Mahatyam, Tirloka Sundhari and Venkateswara Vratha Mahatyam. Further has also acted in various other movies till the late 80’s and 90’s and his recent movie was Brindavanam lo Gopika which released in 2013.

One of his earlier movies Jaganmohini which was released in 1978 was a blockbuster hit which was directed by B. Vittalacharya. Further to this, Narasimha Raju and B. Vittalacharya also worked on other projects such as Gandhrava Kanya, Mantradandam, Mohini Sapatham together. Apart from these movies, the actor has also worked with other directors and he has acted in about a 100 films in 2 decades.

Talking about his personal life, he is married and has a son and a daughter who are married too. He also has grand children and is leading a happy life.
