Raasi

Raasi, also known as Mantra Raasi is a South Indian film actress who was born in India. She has acted in several movies in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. She was born on 29 July 1980 to D.Venkatesh and Nagamani. She initially appeared as a child artist and was first seen on screen in the year 1988 for the Telugu movie ‘Raogaari illu’. In the same year, she acted in a Malayalam movie as well named ‘Kakkothikkavile Appooppan Thaadikal’. Her first movie in Hindi was ‘Grafthar’. Hence she changed her name from Mantra to Raasi and entered Tollywood with her Telugu debut ‘Shubhakankshalu’ with Jagapathi Babu as the Hero. This movie was very successful and she received good reviews for her performance in the movie.

He had mentioned that his son who studies in Raasi’s school had returned home with scratches and wounds and he wanted the school to be closed. However Raasi maintained that it was a result of a fight between the children on the bus and also that the actor’s wife had spoken very rudely in this matter. She also mentioned that there were 70 other children in the school and none of the other parents had complained in this regard.

Raasi was born in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, India, on July 29, 1980. Mantra is one of Rasi's alternate names. She began her acting career as a child artist in the Telugu film Mamatala Kovela in 1986 when she was six years old. Her debut Hindi film, Girafthar, was released in 1996, and she starred alongside Mithun Chakraborty in Rangbaaz. Then came Subhakanshalu, her Telugu debut. After a successful year in 1996, she had the opportunity to work with actor Vijay in the film Love Today and with actor Ajith Kumar in the movie Rettai Jadai Vayasu. She then went on to star in a number more films till 2017. Rasi is married to SS Nivas.

SS Nivas is an Indian movie director who has worked predominantly in the Telugu movie industry. Rasi Hubby has played roles in more than 80 movies in her career, starting with the Telugu movie Mamatala Kovela where she successfully played the part of the hero's daughter. Mamatala Kovela was out in 1986. She also played her role in the Kannada movie Raja Narasimha as Mahalakshmi. Her last Telugu movie was Lanka which was out in 2017.
