Shamili Agarwal, aka Baby Shamili, was born on 10 July 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She is a daughter to Babu and Alice; her siblings are her sister Shalini and elder brother Richard Rishi Richard Rishi, born officially as Richard Sharaf B >> Read More... . She went to Women's Christian College, Chennai, and completed her education. She is an actor by profession and has worked in various film industries like Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu films.

Shamili's entire family is an actor by profession. She is the youngest of her siblings, Shalini and Richard. Shamili's family shifted to Madras because her father wanted to become an actor, so he decided to move to Madras with his family. But somewhere, he wasn't able to fulfill his dreams. His children, however, made her dream come true after a lot of extra effort.

Shamili started her career in acting when she was 2 in Tamil cinema. Her big break in her career came when she worked on a Tamil movie called Anjali, in which she played the role of a mentally challenged child. Let’s take a look at more roles that she portrayed during her career. She appeared in the movie Bharathan's Malootty in 1990, playing a teen in the film Fazil's Harikrishnan's as Mammooty and Mohanlal’s sibling. 

Shamili also worked with many famous Kannada artists like Sithara, Meghna, Vishnuvardhan, Sunil, Geetha, Srinath, Vinaya Prasad, Sathyapriya, Lakshmi, Ambareesh, Bhavya, Abhijith, and Shruti. She has worked in many Kannada films, which include Dakshayini, Bhairavi, MatheHadituKogile, Bhuvaneshwari, Kadambari, HoovuHannu, KarulinaKudi, Chinna Nee Naguthiru, and Jagadeshwari. 

In 2009, Anand Ranga's made his directorial debut, Oye!, in Shamili got to play her first female lead role in a film. Later, she moved to Singapore to study and work. After returning to Chennai, she started to work on the production of Veera Shivaji. 

No doubt, Shamili is a brilliant actor;  her talent and hard work have made her win so many awards. She was awarded with a National Film Award for her film Anjali, in which she played the role of a mentally challenged child, Kerala State Film Award for her series Malootty, in which she portrayed the role of a child trapped in a bore-well. Her Kannada movie MatheHadituKogile also got an award, the Karnataka State Film Award.
