Anjana Sowmya

Anjana Sowmya is a Playback Singer in Telugu Tamil Film Industry. She is famous in her field. She was born on September 29, 1985, in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh in India. She has recorded songs for many movies as many as 150 in different languages. This playback Singer has won many awards including Filmfare Awards. She has won singing shows like Super Singer 4 and Super Singer 7 of MAA TV. Anjana Sowmya is the daughter of Vidyala Sumathi and Gopalakrishna Chitalapudi. She has done her degree from Kakinada Institute of Technology & Science (B.Tech) and Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management Visakhapatnam (MBA).

She has done Diploma in Carnatic Music and is an All India Radio Gold Medalist. Sowmya first ever performance was in a classical music concert. She had done this performance when she was in school that is 5th standard. In 2006, when she was doing her B.Tech degree she took her first step towards Music Industry by playing a role as a Playback Singer.
