The Telugu producer, Akkineni Ramesh Prasad, is one of the acclaimed personalities of the Tollywood film industry. He was born and brought up in Andhra Pradesh. His father’s name is L.V. Prasad, who was the founder of the L V Prasad Eye Institute. Apart from being an acclaimed producer, he is also a businessman and head of Prasad Studios. Talking about his education, he pursued a B.E.M.S. degree from the United States. As soon as his degree got completed, he got married to Vijaylakshmi in July 1963. Being a chairman and head of Prasad Studios and Prasad Art Pictures, he produced various films.
The Prasad Studios developed by him have now spread its roots in not only 12 cities of India but also outside India. Even he also served as president of the Film Federation Of India from 1988-89. Being the founder of Prasad Group, containing Prasad Corp USA, Prasad Video Digital, Prasad EFX, etc., he has accomplished a lot in his life which others fail to do.
