Pooja Roshan born and brought up in Karnataka. She is model turned TV actress and now stepped into silver screen with couple of movies in her list. She speaks Telugu and English fluently besides speaking her native language Kannada. She is acting in serial Agni Poolu broadcast on Gemini TV daily at 8:00 PM. Serial revolves around four best friends whose life events are tied up with each other. In this serial Pooja plays the role of Sharmila. Sharmila is daughter of active MLA and fiancée to Veeren (Male Protagonist). She played the negative role with vengeance for not being able to successfully marry lead role. She portrayed all the expressions well and made viewers believe natural. Her ability in acting gave her boost to act in movies also. She has been acting in short films and low budget films for a while. Her debut movie was Priyamayina Anjali, playing the lead role of Anjali beside antagonist Shankar (sadistic lover) and (police Inspector). She also acted as co-star to Waheeda in a movie “A1- the Adventures one” with Suhas. She plays role of girlfriend. She also acted in another movie in lead role which is “Kadapa Muddu Bidda”. She got experience of acting in small roles and artiste roles in Telugu movies and in supportive roles in Kannada movies.

She took part in celebrations and film celebrations with her mesmerizing dance. Participated in famous game show “Bhale Chancele” hosted by and won prize money of ₹12,000.00 to take home. She also acted in devotional movie “Sabari Gireesh Ayyappa” with amrutham fame with production and direction by P.V.Ramana. Her movies might be handful but gave her enough fame to be recognised on silver screen as well as small screen.
