Srilatha

Srilatha is a telugu serial actress. She is from Huzurabad, Karaimnagar district, Telangana. Her father is a real estate businessman in Hyderabad. Her mother’s name is Vijayalakshmi and she is a home maker. She has one elder sister and brother. She completed her Degree in Open University. She is not married. She is a kuchipudi dancer. In her childhood, she used to participate in dance programs in her school and she used to get lots of compliments and after she started to like dance too. She likes to watch Swarna Kamlam movie, she has seen it several times and just like in that movie she wanted to be a great dancer like Bhanupriya. And then she started learning Kuchipudi under D.V. Sathyakumar. She has given many stage performances. One of the serial producers saw her and asked her to act Parvathi Devi's character in his Bhemeshwara puranam serial and then she discussed this with her family. Her family did not have any idea about the on industry and so then her mother asked her father to accept to act in 1 or 2 serials and then their family accepted. She got fame throughinto her first serial onlyitself. After that she has worked for more than 70 serials. In every serial, she acts naturally without gliserin.

Before she entered into serials, she got offers in Family circus and Kushi movies, but her parents did not accept at that time. Till now she has acted many different types of characters. In crying scenes, she acted without gliserin. Srilatha’s dream is to act naturally like S.V. Rangarao and Savithri. Now, her relatives and her family are giving compliments to her performance and they feel proud of her. Srilatha’s mother also talks about the negative marks in her acting. She has a huge fan following because of the serials. She got Nandi Award in 2010. Everybody calls her by serial names and she likes how ever they call her.
