He has also established himself as a guitarist. At the age of 14, Danyal played guitar for his brother Ali Zafar's song. His parents are teachers and work at Punjab University. He is following in his brother's footsteps to establish his own identity in the industry. He played several songs as a singer and guitarist in the Bollywood movie "London Paris New York". Ali Zafar appeared in this movie.

Danyal also composed the music for the movie "Teefa In Trouble". He made his singing debut with Momina Mustehsan in 2017 at Cock Studio Season 10.
