Sohail Ahmed is a Pakistani comedian and a TV actor whose mere presence is enough to bring a smile to one’s face. Born on 1 May 1963 in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan, Sohail is a director and a writer. Sohail’s work got recognition when he played the character of Azizi in the show, Hasb-e-Haal, on Dunya News. Everyone from all over the nation loves his show, humorously commenting on current affairs and other topics.
He has been a part of two films, Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2. He has also performed in a stage drama named Shartiya Mithay. A comedian is someone whose efforts are respected and loved by people of all age groups. Sohail Ahmed received the Pride of Performance Award in 2011 and the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence) Award in 2013, both by the President of Pakistan.
