Umer Darr

Umer Darr is a theatre artist, film and television actor based in Lahore, Pakistan. He predominantly works in the Pakistani entertainment industry, particularly in Urdu dramas and movies. He was born on 14 April 1990 in Lahore, Pakistan. He has studied Bachelor’s in Psychology and an MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Government College University, Lahore. He is a practicing psychologist who has worked with several multinational companies.

Besides acting, he also works as a student counselor at the Government College University, Lahore. For the past thirteen years, he has been working in the entertainment industry, and his acting is widely appreciated by the people of all age groups. Since childhood, Umer was interested in acting. He used to act and mimic different characters with such a keen interest and in a natural manner that his cousins suggested him to become an actor and pursue acting professionally. Therefore, Umer got the support of his family, who helped him to recognize the actor inside him. Then, he started acting in a number of plays at his Government College’s Dramatics Club, such as Shah-e-Alam, Tygore of Mysore, Mukhtarnama, and Sazayaab.
