Zoheb Hassan is a famous Pakistani songwriter, singer and music producer. He was born on 18 November 1966. He and his sister Nazia were popular singers in their youth and spent their childhood in Pakistan and London. Zoheb shot to fame when his album Disco Deewane (1981) became a massive hit across South Asia. He and his sister Nazia became overnight celebrities and were the first pop singers in the sub-continent in the1980s. Zoheb has worked on nine albums and has released over six solo songs over the years.
He has received many awards for his contribution to the Pakistani music industry, including twelve gold, four platinum, and two double platinum awards. Zoheb also worked in seven Pakistani films, including his latest release Ho Mann Jahan (2015). He also acted in the Geo TV productions television serial Kismet, which aired in 2006. Zoheb’s latest album, Signature (2017), was released in Pakistan and India with the collaboration of the music companies, EMI Pakistan and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
