Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi is a famous Pakistani Qari and Na’at Khawab from Lahore, Pakistan. He was born on 25th July 1952. He performs poetry praising the Prophet Muhammad. He is bilingual and recites in both Urdu and Arabic languages. He started reciting Quran at the early age of 6 or 7. He has participated in several Qira’at competitions worldwide. He won his first competition in Malaysia and the next one in Libya. He also won the Tilawat-r-Quran-e-Majeed in Saudi Arabia and Syria.

While he was in Pakistan during the 1970s, he joined Radio Pakistan. He also had his TV program Sar Chashma-e-Hidayat. He was also called to judge other Qari and Na’at Khawab competitions. His famous works are Allah hu Allah hu, Faaslo ko Taklluf Hai Hum Se Agar, Zahe Muqaddar, and many others. He won the Pride of Performance award in 1984 for his contribution to the field of Qari and Na’at.
