Rustam Fateh Ali Khan is a famous singer in the Urdu music industry. His music style is in the Qawwali genre. Qawwali is a form of South Asian devotional Sufi music. Rustam Fateh Ali Khan was born on June 1, 1990, in Faisalabad. Rustam Fateh Ali Khan is the son of the famous Pakistani singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan; his uncles, Ustad Mubarik Ali Khan and Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, were famous qawwals. He started his career as a qawwali singer in the early 2000s. Coming from a musical background, Rustam Fateh Ali Khan could sing very well by the age of 10.

Rustam Fateh Ali Khan sang in the Qawwali genre for the first time at his father’s funeral in 1964; two years later, he gave his first performance with his uncles as a qawwal. He is well-known for his depth and powerful singing; he has traveled all across Asia and Europe and has released several albums. He is a very respected figure in the Qawwali community. He has also performed at weddings and various other occasions. Some of Rustam Fateh Ali Khan’s popular works are "Aye Dilruba", "Dilruba", "Khammaj Thumri", "Raag Bageshri", and "Abhogi".
