, whose minor role as Admiral Ackbar in Return of the Jedi proved to be immortal, died at the age of 93. Those three iconic words, “It’s a trap!” was one of the most famous lines in the whole Star Wars series.
The voice actor reprised his role as Admiral Ackbar in the J.J. Abrams directed hit Star Wars: The Force Awakens. His character, with a large domed head and fish like eyes, became memorable for all fans and those three words became a cliche. May the force be with him and his soul find peace.
