Filmfare Awards are one among the prestigious awards given to the cinema people, for their excellence in the respective fields of cinema. The Awards are being honored to the celebrities for the past sixty years. This is the first year, the Filmfare is stepping into the Marathi cinema industry and shared their thoughts and views. Being a Pioneer in honoring the Talents with the awards, Filmfare is not limited to Hindi cinema industry, but vested in the entire South Zone, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Ajeenkya DY Patil Filmfare Awards (Marathi) is initiated from 2015 and will continue as in other languages.
