for movie Rustom, leaving people wondering why movies as Dangal and Aligarh were left out. The best Hindi movie award was given to Neerja. The jury said that the Bollywood movies have not lost, but, the regional movies have excelled.
He also added that the movie Dangal missed out since there were many powerful regional movies. It is not due to anything else. Some of the Marathi and Bengali movies were brilliant and better. As a matter of fact, that discretion was similar for Hansal Mehta’s Aligarh, which stressed on the pertinent point on LGBT rights. The six industries from the South – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Tulu and Konkani bagged a total of 18 awards.
