, and playing Azharuddin’s first wife Naureen speaks about the similar kind of roles that she keeps getting. She calls herself the victim for the image that she has got in the industry.
Prachi says that right from Rock On and One Upon a Time In Mumbai to Azhar, she has been getting the role of a simple and regular girl. She says that she wishes to do more challenging roles and try out different genre, but unfortunately Bollywood thinks that she is ‘made for’ these girl-next-door roles only. She agrees that she might be playing them well, but she feels that she is beyond this. She thinks that she is capable of doing roles which are more strong and intense.
Although Prachi feels that Naureen was difficult because her character demanded depth and to express unconditional love, she says that she wants to explore more as an actor. She wants the filmmaker to approach her with varied characters with varied backgrounds. She wants them to understand her ability- she says her capability has not been utilized fully till now, and she has been getting offers that are all of the similar kinds.
