Akankshaa Bagged A Role For Crying Naturally

The Kannada film RX Soori, which stars Duniya Vijay Vijay aka Duniya Vijay is an actor of Kannada cine >> Read More... in the lead role, has presented Akanksha, the latest heroine in Sandalwood. She was born in Gujarat and just came to Bengaluru after she finishes her Class 10. She was hailed from a family who is into business and showbiz blood never runs in her family. Before she enters the film industry, Akankshaa works as an air hostess. When she got bored of her job and was on a gap with no goal in her sight, a friend suggested her to audition for a film.

The actress shared that when she went to the audition, all she knew was that the film stars Vijay. She was not informed about the script or the role she was auditioning. When it was her turn, she was asked to do an emotional scene and required her to cry. Akankshaa said, she cried naturally, without glycerine. But after the audition, she did not hear anything from the makers for more than a month and she thought she didn’t make it. When she was trying to figure out about her next plan, she received a call from the team saying that she passed the audition. She said, “I was still trying to figure out what my next move should be when I got a call from the team saying that I bagged the role because of my convincing emotional outpour and the fact that I cried without glycerine."

She was thrilled on her debut film, in spite that it is a gangster film based on the life story of Paritala Soori, with heaps of violence act. Though it is not the genre that can give her the chance to perform, Akankshaa was still excited with the project as they will be giving the audience a glimpse into the story. She adds that the tagline of the film says, “A True Love Story”, which means the film will also have some sort of romance.
