The Kannada outfits are demanding an apology from Sathyaraj for making negative statements against Karnataka during the Cauvery protests. It is to be noted that Sathyaraj is doing the role of Katappa in the movie. The Kannada outfits have submitted a memorandum to the president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce SA Ra Govindu to halt the release of the movie.
