was detained by the police at Chamrajpet and it happened on Wednesday. The case is as old as 10 years. Jayasri Devi gave a cheque to Anand and the cheque seems to have bounced. The noted producer 'Jayasri Devi' who comes from Andhra Pradesh has done movies as Snehaloka, Amruthavarshini, Kona Eedaithe, and Mukunda Muraui. The noted icon Anand of the Ashwini pictures had forwarded Rs 34 lakhs. The arrest warrant was issued by the court.
It happens that Jayasri Devi did not take part in the court sessions and that happens to be the reason for arrest. The police have said that she would undergo an imprisonment of one year.
