, the multilingual actor, had been writing a column in a Kannada daily. Following his recent strong political comments, the weekly column had been stopped. Shocked Prakash tweeted, "Surgical strike..my popular column in Kannada has been abruptly stopped . Dear INVISIBLE HANDS..do you think we can't see you..#justasking." Prakash Raj’s Just Asking hashtag is popular for his comments against the central government. On being his writing blocked, Prakash said, "With every act of yours....people can see your face behind the mask clearer..By blocking a platform where I was in conversation with my readers....do you seriously believe you can break the bond I shared with them... #justasking.” Following the death of Gauri Lankesh, Prakash turned aggressive and had been firing against BJP. Prakash directly commented the BJP leaders and said that they are better actors than him. As Prakash commented against the BJP, Mysore MP targeted Prakash and the actor had sent a notice to him.
