There happened to be a documentary which was made on the award winning environmental awareness icon. Also, there was a movie which was planned on the life of the noted icon Thimmakka. The Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah made an announcement that the parks would be named after the environmentalist

In a fresh development, there is a fresh foundation being raised for the important icon. Also, there would be the silt which would be removed and the lake water would be present for the people. The proposal of Tree Parks will be for the birds, children and the medicine plants. There were a number of forest officials present for the event.
