Yash is a noted actor in Kannada cine field. The villagers of the village Koppal were an excited lot when they observed that the water level had increased. It is due to the rejuvenation efforts by Sandalwood star Yash. It is to be noted that the actor along with his new wife Radhika has taken up the rejuvenation of a 96-acre lake in Tallur village of Yelburga taluk which is at the cost of Rs 4 crore. The work was handled in the base of priority. The removal of silt began from February 28th.
This coincided with the launching of the project. Even as the removal of silt is progressing ahead, the lake has started receiving natural spring water, and the water level in the lake has reached around 8 feet. Villagers hoped that once the rejuvenation works are over, there would be sufficient water to meet the requirements of the 10,000 people residing in a radius of 20 kilometers of the lake.
