, the national award winning director. In this film, Mrudula plays Captain Lakshmi Sehgal, an officer in Indian army. Mrudula says that she had adored Captain Lakshmi from her childhood. After committing to the project, she had read a lot about the Captain including her biography and the articles related to her. Raagdesh is a film about Indian National Army in 1945. Colonel Gurbaksh Dillon, Colonel Prem Sehgal and Major General Shah Nawaz Khan, who worked in the British Indian Army were taken as the war prisoners in Singapore, Malaya and Burma respectively. Mohit plays Colonel Prem Sehgal, the colleague of Captain Lakshmi. Mrudula’s part will be shot next month. Hope she has got an interesting role to play.
