Today is the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar. When the entire nation is celebrating the birth anniversary of Ambedkar, people in Kovilapatti were also celebrating it as usual. A statue of Ambedkar is in the legislative office of Kovilpatti. A lot of political parties, social activists and the public paid their tribute to Ambedkar, today. When some organizations were at a rally, they heard a terrible sound and saw a cloud of black fumes. When they rushed near the statue, they saw a man standing with a gun. The cops arrested him and took him to the Police station. When inquired, he said that his name is Poun Raj and he has been working in CRPF as a soldier. He has the license to use the gun and has a double barrel gun. While paying tribute to Ambedkar, he shot the gun in emotion, stated Poun Raj.
