,” the contestant of RK Nagar by-poll is contesting with Hat as his symbol and he is from ADMK Amma. He filed his nomination yesterday with the details of his property worth. Earlier a case was filed by Joseph in Madras High Court requesting the court to ban Dhinakaran in contesting the elections as he is convicted in FERA case and has been charged with a fine amount of Rs. 28 Cr. But, the case has been dismissed by the court stating that there is no such law available that FERA Case convict shouldn’t contest in the election. Now, Joseph has filed a petition to Praveen Nair, the election authority in RK Nagar poll. He stated that as Dhinakaran is convicted in FERA case and some more cases, he shouldn’t be permitted to contest the RK Nagar poll. What will be the reply from Praveen? Let us wait and watch!
