There were many hassles to the release of the movie There was the issue regarding the title, and the issue that surrounded the animals that were used in the movie Vijay met the Chief Minister in the Greenways residence. Following that, the movie Mersal was shown to the animal welfare board. The animal welfare board raised a number of questions.
The movie crew answered the questions by the animal welfare board. Following that the animal welfare board conveyed that there is no hassle to the release of the movie. Following the positive development, Vijay conveyed his thanks to the Chief Minister for helping the crew release the movie. The Minister Kadambur Raju has shared this development with the media. There have been number of issues surrounding the release of the movie. It is to be noted that previous movies of Vijay as Theri got entangled in similar trouble. But, the intervention by the necessary officials have helped in the release of the movie.
