It has come to our attention that Chennai superstar Rajinikanth has voted for the on – going Legislative Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu, the voting for which started from this Monday morning. He went to the Stella Maris College, which is one of the voting centers.

also cast his vote at a voting center near Kuppaqm Beach Road. The star's wife Shalini was seen accompanying him to cast her vote.
Many popular Chennai personalities like the actor, producer, and film – maker Kamal Hassan and his daughter Akshara, and Jiiva were also spotted casting their votes for the Legislative Assembly Elections. Many other actors expressed their desires to vote this year but they couldn’t due to their busy schedules and on account of not being in the country.
Those who voted have set a good example for the citizens, thereby encouraging them to vote.
