Actor Ajith and director Siva teamed up for the first time in movie Veeram. Since the movie turned out to be a hit, the director, and the actor joined hands again in movie Vedhalam. This film also proved to be a megahit. The present scenario is such that director Siva and actor Ajith are again teaming up for the third time.
The project happens to be Ajith’s 57th movie. Thyagarajan produces the movie under the banner Sathyajothi Films. After completion of the schedules of movie Vedhalam, Ajith had to undergo surgery on his leg. Ajith was into rest for the last few months. Following that, the schedules for Ajith’s 57th movie got delayed. In a development, the schedules for Ajith’s 57th movie are commencing the coming July 7th. This day happens to be a Thursday.
Ajith has a sentiment to the movie schedules which starts on Thursdays because according to him it would give prosperous results. Although the heroine for this flick has not been announced officially, there is a buzz that Anushka would do this movie. The very same technical team that worked with Siva is joining hands for the movie.
Anirudh, who had scored the music for movie Vedhalam, scores the music for the upcoming flick. The camera is to be handled by Vetri. Since the movie schedules are to begin only in July, it seems that there is no Ajith Starrer round the corner. So, it seems that Ajith’s 57th movie might hit the screens during Pongal, the next year.
