The film that deals with the water scarcity and the unclosed borewell deaths has garnered appreciation from the public, not only for the script and direction but also for the exemplary performance of Nayantara. While everyone praises the film for its content and performances, a Kannada producer has filed a case against the film in Madras High Court. It is stated that Aramm is the remake of a Kannada film “Parivaara” and the makers hadn’t obtained the remake rights before filming it.
