Vijay, a student from Melvaruvathur Private College, was attacked by the college management board. He was brought to Chennai Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital for the treatment. The relatives of Vijay complained that the doctors are denying giving the medical treatment to Vijay.
It is reported that a patient in the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital died after the treatment. So, the relatives of the deceased started attacking the doctors. As they are attacked, the training doctors and the nurses decided to strike and blocked the road. The Poonamalle highway is blocked and the commotion prevails.
As the doctors are protesting, the patients are pleading them to drop the protest and return to work. The press and media are being attacked. The higher officials including the police department officers are just standing like statues and watching.
