Call Taxi Drivers have announced a strike and they would start protesting against the Fastrack, Uber and Ola from tonight. The representatives of the Call Taxi Drivers Association stated that a lot of drivers are stressed much due to their workload. As they are working nearly 20 hours a day, they could neither spend time with their family nor could sleep well and this increases the stress. Due to this, many people lost their lives, stated the Call Taxi Drivers association members. They also stated that they are against the corporate call taxi companies including Fastrack, Ola and Uber, as they didn’t increase the pay slab that was designed, a couple of years ago. As the fuel prices increased, the taxi owners could not balance the financial pressure too. As their requests are not heard, they have decided to go on for a strike.
