The government announced that from this academic year, Class XI would have public exams. XI marks will be added to the XII Standard marks and will be calculated for their higher studies after schooling. The students will write the exams for 600 marks in both the years and the exam timing will be 2:30 hours. School Education Minister “ K A Sengottaiyan K A Sengottaiyan is a political person from India. >> Read More... ” announced this. The minimum passing score is 35 marks in each subject. The students, who failed in XI can continue in XII but should write and pass in the re-exams that will be conducted in June – July. Saturdays will have half working days (3 hours in the morning). The government will provide the lab manuals and it will be useful to the students.
