,” launched a new movement called MGR Amma Deepa Peravai. She is the General Secretary of the party. A lot of Amma followers joined Deepa. She also announced that she would contest in the upcoming RK Nagar bypoll. The latest news is that Deepa’s husband Madhavan quit from the movement and is gearing up to start a party. He is now at Jayalalithaa memorial. He says that something vicious has entered the Deepa Peravai and hence he quit it. When asked about the RK Nagar election, he stated that he would discuss with the people and decide it. It seems fishy! People know Deepa only after the death of Jayalalithaa. Many of them don’t even know who Madhavan is. In this state, how could he start a new party? Who is giving hopes to him? Any driven force behind Madhavan? We have to wait and watch!
