The Tamil farmers are protesting in Delhi Jantar Mantar for the past four weeks. Ayya Kannu, the Farmers Union leader, has been guiding them well. As the Prime Minister didn’t hear the requests of the poor farmers, who are protesting under the sun for the past four weeks, the farmers decided to go to the Prime Minister’s office and meet him directly. It is heard that a cop named Bahadur Singh, who took the farmers to the PM office, has been suspended. As none of the ministers or representatives of the central government didn’t even visit the farmers, the poor people lost their patience. Yet, they didn’t leave their protest. As they did a nude protest, they were arrested. The farmers request to the PM is to set up a Cauvery Tribunal, to waive off the loans of the farmers and to provide the drought relief fund.
