Maestro “Ilayaraja” is still composing the music for the films even after crossing his 1000 movies. In 80s many of the musicians including Ilayaraja composed the music for 40 to 50 films in a row. In their 40 films, there were some changes in the tunes and their style. But nowadays, many music directors, who compose two to three films in a year don’t show much difference in their tunes. When asked about this to “A R Rahman,” he said that doing 40 to 50 films doesn’t matter. But, how many songs are made hits is the case, replied Rahman. Although Rahman didn’t mean Ilayaraja, the fans of the music maestro oppose Rahman through the social media. Rahman didn’t mean anyone; particularly Ilayaraja. We all know that Ilayaraja was the one who had been giving a huge number of hits than his contemporaries and his next gen people.
