Dipak Mishra, the Chief justice of the Supreme Court stated that the Karnataka government should release Cauvery water to Tamilnadu, as per the order by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court ordered the Karnataka government to release Tamilnadu’s share and also insisted the Central Government constitute the Cauvery Management Board that would help both the states in getting the right share of Cauvery water.
