Now the editor took it to his Twitter and replied for the rumor. He stated, “I never gave any statement regarding the Mersal deleted scenes release! There were few songs & comedy scenes trimmed considering the duration of the film! No deleted scenes/songs will be released by the team as of now! Please don’t spread or believe rumors! #Mersal #Rumor.” It was stated that in an interview with a news magazine, Ruben had said that the deleted songs would be uploaded. However, the editor confirmed it as a rumor.
