It was earlier stated that if the contestants in RK Nagar election exceeds the limit of 63, then, the paper ballot method will be followed. Later, the election commission announced that the electronic voting machine would be provided in RK Nagar election. As today is the final day to withdraw, there are chances for some candidates to withdraw their nomination petition. Although the final list is not released, there will not be any issue in using the electronic voting machines as there are just 62 contestants. Eight independent contestants withdrew their nominations. It was earlier speculated that “ J Deepa J Deepa, whose actual name is Deepa Jayakumar, is >> Read More... ” might withdraw her nomination, upon the request by “ O Panneerselvam O.
