Endhiran 2 will be a mega blockbuster with its budget reported to be 250 crores. The film is to be shot entirely in 3D and a large part of the film will be shot using the 3D motion capture technology. It will be remembered that motion capture technology has been used in films like Avatar, The Adventures of Tintin and Kochadaiiyaan. Endhiran also made use of motion capture but this film will use it in a more effective way and it will be shot at a popular Hollywood studio.
Rumours say that Endhiran 3 is also in the making and motion capture technology will be very useful for the 3rd part, especially in the VFX department. Lyca International will be the producer while Endhiran 2 will have Superstar Rajinikanth as hero while the villain’s role is yet to be decided upon. Talks are on with Arnold Schwarznegger as also some leading Indian actors for the role of villain. The film is to have an eminent technical crew with A R Rahman for music, T Muthuraj for art direction,
